The food was brilliantly cooked and presented in a really classy dining room. Our room was lovely, clean, warm, and very comfortable, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It felt like everyone was trying to give the best service they could. A lovely experience and an exceptional place.

The dinner was superb, the best food we had on our German tour, and the service at this family-run hotel was excellent. Staff were lovely. Our spacious bedroom had an ultra-comfortable bed and a balcony, though there was no minibar or coffee-making equipment in the room. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, about a 10-minute drive from Boppard center, and has free parking. Boppard is a lovely town beside the Rhine with plenty of walks. The view from the Horeshoe viewing point is amazing, whether you walk up or take the leisurely chairlift. There's also a train station if you want to go further afield. We stayed three nights and definitely recommend it.

The restaurant needs a reservation. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and spacious. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.
