Haus Nordstern Wohnung 4

For the price, the stay was great, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly.

I was here on a business trip and just needed a small room in a central spot. It was clean and had a kettle, coffee, tea, and plenty of outlets. There was a basket of rolls on the counter too, apparently left from breakfast, for guests to take. Breakfast had a wide selection and something for every taste, though there wasn't brunch. That suited me perfectly. The regular doors let in a bit more noise than soundproof hotel doors, but it was fine for me. I picked this place for the value, not for a luxury room.

The central location was great, and the Wi-Fi was reliable and included. The rooms were clean and perfectly fine; the bathrooms looked a little dated but were tidy. We got a warm, friendly welcome and felt at home right away. Breakfast had a good range, including scrambled or fried eggs and pancakes. I'd definitely come back.

The rooms are nicely furnished, and the location is ideal. The owner was helpful when the heating broke and got it fixed quickly. I can't say the same for the rest of the service: the cleaning staff didn't respond even after I greeted them several times, and the kitchen staff seemed unfriendly and lacking motivation in the dining room. The breakfast buffet also wasn't replenished. As for cleanliness, guests can leave luggage by the stairs until departure, so it would be good to clean the wooden steps too instead of only vacuuming the carpet. They weren't a pretty sight.
