We had the larger of the two apartments, and it was perfectly roomy enough for four people. It's a lovely holiday place, tastefully furnished in an old lighthouse that's been beautifully renovated. The equipment includes a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and so on. We did miss having a microwave, though. 😉

A few days in the Lechner family's apartment are a great way to get away from everyday life. It's cozy, in a unique spot that's quiet but still central, and the hosts are kind and incredibly helpful. It was perfect, and I'd definitely stay there again!

We've stayed on Borkum several times with different landlords, but nowhere has been as lovely as Lighthouse House 1888. The apartments are beautiful, and the house sits in a peaceful location surrounded by lots of greenery. The landlords are extremely friendly and attentive, too. Ute and Peter, you make a stay here feel really special. Thank you so much. I'm already looking forward to the next four weeks in your home.

Check the inventory for damage when you book, or you might later get a letter asking you to pay compensation. Apparently, a box of wine glasses as a welcome gift for the landlord would count as a mitigating circumstance.
