Strandhotel Najade

Excellent!!!

We had a lovely stay and would be happy to come back. The hotel is very quiet and only a few minutes on foot from the beautiful beach. Room cleaning and fresh towels are provided when requested; you can put a cleaning notice on the door, and that system works well. The room cleaner was very nice and accommodating. Our bed mattresses were very soft, and our bathroom had a shower and was fine. Breakfast was adequate for the fairly low price. I think the outdoor area could use more care, and the seating and lounging spots could feel a bit more inviting.

We had a very nice week at this small, peaceful hotel near the south beach. The town center is about a five-minute bike ride away. Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was simple but plentiful and tasty. The rooms are bright and spacious, and evenings were very quiet.

The cleaning lady was the friendliest person there, though she only came to clean the room if we asked. Since we were at the beach with our dog and had paid extra for the dog, daily room cleaning would have seemed reasonable, sustainability aside. The two sisters running the hotel had very different manners: one was friendly, the other quite grumpy and seemed out of her depth in hospitality. The breakfast buffet was sometimes completely empty by 9:30 a.m., so we chose to eat elsewhere, where the selection was broader and the service friendlier.
