Villa am Marienhof

At prices above €200 a night, the poor Wi-Fi is a real drawback. You can get a signal only in the living room, and even there it comes and goes. There’s no internet reception on the terrace or on the first and second floors.

A secure bike parking space with charging would make sense now that e-bikes start at €3,000. The current racks outside are concreted in. Also, afternoon sun hits the balconies directly, with no shade available. Sun sails would be useful and inexpensive. The apartments are spacious and very nice, with up-to-date equipment. The bathroom is clean and modern, and the kitchen and patio in front are okay. There are a few things the owner could consider. The three floors mean all bedrooms are upstairs, reached by narrow stairs. People who aren’t very fit or have breathing problems will struggle, and this should be clearly mentioned. It would also help to have more pots and pans for up to six people, so the dishwasher can be used fully. Half-full dishwashers aren’t sustainable. Those are my suggestions. What the owner does with them is up to him.

A clean, very modern holiday apartment.

The apartment is really lovely. Since I think the price is already fair, it might be worth considering letting guests use the sauna for free.
