The large garden was a real treat for the children, aged 3, 5, and 6, and the balcony had a wonderful view of the nearby Bodden lagoon. We had a fantastic family reunion at Blaufuchs with three couples and three children. The house is a gem, furnished with care and its own style. It had everything we needed, including a very well-equipped kitchen and handy extras like guest bikes. The rental agency was friendly, professional, reliable, and quick to respond. Ole, our on-site contact, was a great help too. We had a comfortable, carefree time and would gladly stay again. Highly recommended!

Susanne made check-in so easy, and communication was great throughout. The six of us, all women, spent a weekend in Born and felt very at home at Fuchsbau. The holiday home is lovely and idyllic, with a cozy courtyard and lots of ways to relax. Highly recommended!

The owners' love of dogs really stood out. Finding a nice rental for two Labradors and a small, anxious dog isn't easy, but Fuchsbau worked beautifully for us. Thanks again, we'll definitely return. Five stars plus! I celebrated my birthday with my family, six people and three dogs, in the stone house at Fuchsbau-Born, and we just got back from a wonderful short break. All the houses look stylish from the outside, with every detail fitting the garden. I'd been curious from the website photos, and my family was blown away by the interior. I've rarely stayed somewhere so tastefully and lovingly furnished. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. There was even silverware we didn't need to use because the other cutlery was already so good. We spent game nights around a long table, and used the inviting fireplace with local firewood supplied by the owners for a small fee. There's also a sauna on the property. The mattresses were actually comfortable for me, which matters because I'm very sensitive to them and hate expensive rentals with sagging beds that make restful sleep impossible. The Bodden meadows are directly opposite, and you can see the water from the terrace.

The roomy garden has mature fruit trees, a lovely spot to spend an afternoon near the Baltic Sea and the Bodden. Inside, every room feels welcoming, and you can tell the holiday home has been furnished with care. The fireplace in the living area and the big wooden dining table in the conservatory add a lot of coziness. It works so well for families or friends. A heartfelt recommendation, and lots of praise!
