Hotel Drei Rosen

Really good food, and a great hotel.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent, from the asparagus, salmon, and roast beef to the white wine. Breakfast was a good buffet, though everything was savory. The room on the building's second floor was spacious enough, functional, and very clean. Staff were friendly, polite, and professional, and the owner gave us a warm welcome. The hotel and restaurant are in a historic building in Borna, about thirty minutes from Leipzig, with parking in front of the restaurant. Very good value. I recommend it.

The staff are lovely, and you can tell they enjoy their work. That warm, caring way of running the place makes it a very nice stay. The hotel feels a little dated but has charm. My room was clean, modern, and perfectly satisfactory.

Everyone was so friendly and always made time for a quick chat. The small breakfast selection featured regional specialties, and the tea and coffee were freshly brewed. This is a charming family hotel in its third generation, with an old manor house feel. The rooms were spotless, and the essentials have been modernized. You can sense the house's age in the doorknobs and staircase, though it doesn't show in the rooms. Excellent value, and highly recommended if you like a rustic, family-run place.
