The lake water wasn't very clean, and by the second day it had turned very green. The toilets were busy, so sometimes you had to wait for one to be free. I spent a weekend there with my family. The owners were nice, the place we got was big, and the price was good. The beach wasn't very crowded and had some shade.
There are prohibitive signs everywhere, and management generally seems to have a pretty negative attitude toward guests. It's the most German camping site I know. The beach isn't nice for swimming, though the playground is good for kids of all ages.
The place is relaxed and cheap, and for the price it's okay. At the restaurant, everyone acts Italian in a pretty stereotypical way and repeats random Italian phrases like "mille grazie" or "buongiorno signore", but they don't actually speak Italian. As an Italian, I find that annoying and a bit offensive. The food is the usual average fake-Italian quality you find everywhere in Germany.
A good campsite if you've got a boat or want to hire one. There was no drinking water at the pitch and no drainage. ☹️
We had an amazing time, and my children loved it too. It was clean and beautiful, and the staff were respectful and helpful. ♥️
