The apartment is fairly well furnished, and supermarkets are easy to reach on foot, though it’s on the outskirts of Braunlage. Most of the dishes are chipped, the glasses are an assorted collection and there aren’t many of them. It could also have been cleaner.

We felt at home right away in the Berglage holiday apartments. The rooms are stylish and tastefully furnished, with a modern, harmonious design that suits the surroundings. You can see the care that’s gone into the details. The owner was especially welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Communication was easy and pleasant throughout, and he made sure we had what we needed. If you want comfortable accommodation with thoughtful design, this is a great choice. We’ll definitely come back!

We stayed at the Berg-Scheune in September 2024 and are still delighted with it. The owners are very friendly and easy to deal with, and it’s clear how much care they’ve put into the buildings and grounds. The accommodation itself is beautifully furnished and has everything you could want. The sauna inside the house wasn’t working during our stay, but that didn’t bother us. After talking with other guests, we learned we could have used the outdoor sauna instead. Shops and the bus station are just a stone’s throw away. For a relaxing holiday in the Harz Mountains, the location is fantastic.
