We felt welcome right away, and it was easy to communicate with the friendly hosts. The location is ideal. The vacation home was clean and cozy, just as described, and the amenities impressed us because they’d thought of everything. We had a wonderful time and would love to return. A clear five stars, highly recommended! 😊

Lisa and her team made for a lovely holiday, and the house had plenty of fairytale books to read. We especially liked the shared room with its dartboard. Parking close to the house was limited and only available by the hour, which was the downside. Thanks to Lisa and her team.

We’re already planning another Braunlage holiday and will definitely book in the Märchenhaus again. During our five nights in the Frau Holle holiday apartment, the four of us, two adults and two children, had more than enough room. The apartment was very clean and superbly equipped, and it was ready earlier than expected. Lisa let us know on WhatsApp. She was friendly and easy to reach by phone, email, or WhatsApp. We also loved the big common room, with all its games, the foosball table, and the dartboard.

The landlady deserves a special mention for her very friendly service. We were there as a family group of 17, from age 2 to 87, and had a really nice time. The house is in a fantastic central location. We’d love to come back!

We stayed in the Cinderella apartment with four adults and three children. It was quiet and centrally located, with plenty of storage, a well-equipped kitchen, new bathrooms, and a large, comfortable dining area. There’s a park with a pond behind the house, and an inexpensive indoor pool with a small outdoor pool and whirlpool is within walking distance. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, the big sofa could use replacing, and I’d have liked more fairytale-themed decor. The lovely old furniture was a no-go for us because it wouldn’t fit in our trunk 😉!
