EchtZeit - Dein Hotelquartier

echtzeit is very modern and open, with an airy, spacious feel. We stayed two nights in one of the lodges, which came with a sauna in the room 😍. It was clean and very well maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great, with a decent range of food and made-to-order omelettes, scrambled eggs, and waffles. We traveled with our two dogs, and the room already had two water bowls and a comfy blanket waiting for them. Happy dogs, happy humans. The car park has no e-car charging station or available power socket, though. Bummer.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and the apartment stayed nice and warm. Room 22 at the Echtzeit Hotel Quarter has a modern look with darker colors and furniture, which suited us, though it may not be for everyone. The bathroom sauna was a lovely extra. A few corners were worn and could use an update, and finding the light switches took some figuring out. We didn't try the lounge facilities, so can't comment on those. The apartment price felt reasonable, as did the €12 daily charge for underground parking. We'd happily come back. Thanks.

Loft 2 at Hotel Echtzeit was quiet despite being right in the center, and we had a great two-night stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms and sauna were lovely, and the rooms were very well equipped. Everything else was very clean, though there was some dirt or damage on parts of the walls. It's a shame some guests don't take better care of someone else's property.

The beds were good, and the children's bunk bed was nicely made. In theory, the room itself was good too, but small details were missing, like protection from door handles hitting the walls. For our family of four, the price just didn't feel justified, even though the hotel has four stars. The kitchen utensils were counted for exactly four people, with no cake forks, plastic cups or plates, or children's cutlery. The bathroom sink is low enough for children to use, but the wall-mounted faucet is out of reach even with a stool. Our almost four-year-old manages the toilet alone, but couldn't use the sink without help. The room looked as though its damage hadn't been repaired in years, despite the hotel being fairly new. The lighting was odd too: floor-to-ceiling windows and full brightness in the living room, but non-dimmable floodlights in the bedroom and bathroom. After we checked in, we reported broken lights in the kitchen and wardrobe, plus a broken bulb, and asked for an extra lamp for the living area. Reception told us to speak to a colleague the next day.
