Harzhaus Rauch

We felt very comfortable, and the landlords were kind and helpful. The apartment is a little difficult to access for anyone with mobility issues. My husband is blind and has mobility difficulties, and the landlord was always there to help. I’d highly recommend this place.

We had a really relaxing stay and lacked nothing. The apartment was clean and charmingly furnished, with very comfortable beds. Mr. Rauch was friendly and shared lots of useful information. Thank you so much!

Our garden apartment had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom was very modern, with underfloor heating, and the living room had a TV with smart TV features and Wi-Fi. The area was quiet and made a great base for exploring nearby. The hosts were very nice.

It’s so quiet on the edge of town, yet you can reach the center in five minutes or less. There are three supermarkets side by side, lots of restaurants with premium prices, a very good bakery, boutiques, and more. The apartment is spacious, has panoramic views, and comes with a comfortable living room, modern bathroom, two large bedrooms with wonderful beds that aren’t too soft, and a well-equipped kitchen. There’s also a smaller holiday apartment with a terrace in the basement. The hosts are super friendly and share plenty of activity tips and information. Wi-Fi is excellent, and there’s parking at the house. The roads make it easy to visit places nearby, such as St. Andreasberg, Schierke, Bad Harzburg, and Sonnenberg. The ice rinks in Braunlage and Schierke are worth a visit. There’s a ski slope in town, or advanced skiers can head to Wurmberg by cable car from town, or drive or take the ski bus to Hexenritt, 3 km away. The treetop walkway is great too, 22 km away. The thermal baths are currently... Check their opening and reservation requirements! We’d love to come back. Thanks so much, Family Rauch!
