The children's hill is almost right behind the house, about a five-minute walk away, and the ice rink is just as close. It’s around ten minutes on foot to the Wurmbergbahn cable car. Brilliant location, beautifully furnished, and wonderfully central. There are three apartments in all, which worked perfectly for several generations. We’d love to come back!

We stayed in the Winterberg apartment. It’s spacious and well equipped, with Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a great bathroom with plenty of storage. The house is on the main road, set back in the second row of buildings, and everything is within easy walking distance. There’s parking on site.

We were so impressed with the Wurmberg and Brocken apartments. Everything was just right, from the furniture to the cleanliness. Haus der Berge will be our first choice whenever we come to Braunlage. I’d give it extra stars if I could.

We stayed in the upstairs apartment and liked it a lot. It’s practical, affordable, and still quite attractive inside. The building isn’t much to look at from outside, and the autumn view isn’t especially romantic.
