The grounds were lovely and peaceful, with room to wander, and Waren was close enough to get to easily. We stayed two nights in the two-bedroom suite and would happily return if we're in the area. It worked perfectly for two couples: the bedrooms were a good size, and the comfortable living room opened onto a little sitting area by the patio door. There was also a kitchen and dining table. Breakfast was served in the morning. A lovely castle to stay in.

The kitchen setup was the one drawback for us. It had no frying pan or seasonings, so its usefulness was limited. Otherwise, we had a really nice family weekend here. The castle hotel was beautiful and well cared for, with friendly staff and quiet, green surroundings. Our family room was on the top floor and had antique furniture. The nightly rate was very reasonable, and we liked the castle style.
