The terrace overlooking the lagoon is fantastic, and the house has a unique location with the beach an easy walk away. It's generally in good condition and well equipped. Larger windows would have made the stunning view even better. I took off a point for cleanliness, which didn't match the price range, and for the lack of a broom and the ridiculously poor vacuum cleaner.

The location is ideal, with a short walk to the beach and plenty of nearby ways to relax, spend leisure time, or eat. The house has satisfactory amenities, and the fly screens are a nice touch in most places. We had a very pleasant stay, and I went into the shortcomings in detail because there's otherwise little to complain about and no real opportunity for criticism. If you want that typical Rügen feeling, this is a good place. The reason for the deducted star was the Wi-Fi. Free access is welcome, but the speed was disappointing, up to 4 Mbps, and even loading pictures could be frustratingly slow. The range was below average too, with an unstable signal upstairs. These days I'd expect better range. Fly screens were missing from one kitchen window, one patio window, and the patio door. Fruit flies and ants were a persistent nuisance throughout our stay. Other family members stayed in another Femaris holiday home and had screens on every window and door.

Everything else was fine, but we couldn't sit outside for long in that lovely, very hot sunshine. The parasol was broken and unfortunately wasn't replaced.

A good place to unwind and relax. The facilities are good.
