We keep coming back for the nature, the view, and the green area where the kids can play. The modern apartments are consistently well furnished and maintained, and we've had a good time here on several visits. Last time, though, the sheets were so rough and worn that they left red marks on our skin while we slept. We asked for a replacement, but got the same material again. The sheets really need replacing. Having a car is useful for getting around, and there are convenient parking spaces on site. There's a restaurant nearby that's always full and not very friendly. A little bistro close by does takeaway, and although it's quite expensive, the food is tasty.

UPDATE: The hotel moved us to a much larger room facing the water, with a balcony. We were very glad they made that effort. Still, the first room made a poor impression against the standard double room description, and I think it belongs in a different price category. The room, hotel, and parking information on booking sites could be updated to prevent mix-ups and disappointment. Our original room was supposed to be 22 square meters, but it was barely 10. The receptionist wouldn't acknowledge how far the website photos were from the room we got. Breakfast wasn't available before 10 am, and when we asked why there was no earlier option, we were shouted at. After we registered our car, the hotel lot was full, so we had to park in a way that blocked another vehicle. We hoped our car wouldn't be towed before our planned early departure. This was probably the worst hotel experience I've had, even though I travel a lot. We chose to travel during the pandemic to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and the stay made that feel like a big mistake, putting a dark stain on an important day.

Traumsegler is a lovely apartment. The extra charge for towels and bed linen is pretty cheeky, so we brought our own.

Really good value, and a great place to stay.
