7THINGS - hotel & apartment

Getting around from 7 Things Hotel Apartment Universum was easy. The Uni-Viertel stop for tram line 4 is right nearby, and the ride to the main railway station takes at most 15 minutes. The tram stops by the Science Center "Universum Bremen", which is also within walking distance. The airport shuttle has a nearby stop too. The station is about 2.5 km away and the city centre around 4 km. There’s a parking garage at the hotel apartment, and check-in and check-out were easy. My room was cleaned regularly, and when something needed repair, maintenance dealt with it promptly. The staff were friendly and courteous at check-in, answered questions quickly, and helped when my plug didn't fit the wall sockets. Someone at reception offered to lend me an adapter. That made the stay much more comfortable. The apartment setup is practical and comfortable, somewhere between a serviced residence and a hotel. Guestpacks have kitchenware, crockery, and cutlery, so you can prepare food and still feel at home. The property is in a residential neighbourhood in Östliche Vorstadt, near the Universum Science Center and the city centre, and the area felt very safe. It works for both business and holiday visits. The place relies on self-service housekeeping. Guests are expected to clean the dishwasher after using it, take out the rubbish, and tidy the room when leaving.

I love staying here. It's a modern, very clean hotel, and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. Breakfast has no hot food, but there's everything else you need for a good one.

Good value for the price, with very clean, pleasant rooms, helpful and friendly reception staff, and a good location.

The room was generously sized, with a double bed, and spotlessly clean. We could lock our bikes away under cover, and breakfast was good, though the layout needs work. People had to reach underneath to get cutlery, and the food area felt crowded. My Wi-Fi didn't work on the night we arrived, but was back by morning. The air conditioning seemed weak even with it set to 15 and the fan on medium. Still, it was a good stay.
