B&B Hotel Bremen-City

We stayed two nights at this centrally located hotel while enjoying Bremen, and it was a good base for the trip. The familiar B&B style means clean, pleasant rooms at a low price. Staff were very friendly and service-minded. When repair work closed the underground garage for a day, they pointed us to other nearby parking and refunded our prepaid parking fee without us needing to ask. I’d recommend it.

The sewer smell in our room and the corridor really affected the stay. The hotel itself and the buffet are fine, but neither is high quality. Breakfast has the necessary basics, though not much beyond that. The eggs were overcooked, there were fruit flies around some food, the juice was just okay, and the coffee was weak.

Everything else was up to a high standard, and I recommend the hotel. Like other B&B hotels, it was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. My one reason for giving it four stars is the underground garage entrance: it needs to be wider, and there seems to be room to do that. Getting in and out as it is now adds stress.

We stayed as a family and found the room neat and clean, with very friendly staff. It’s an economical hotel in an excellent location, and I’d recommend it. If I get the chance, I’ll stay with them in other cities too.
