Finding the place was difficult because the address seemed to point somewhere else. The customer service also left a lot to be desired.

A few days before my trip, my whole booking was cancelled on the grounds that the hotel was full. I’d made the reservation several weeks earlier. When I followed up, I was told that Germans pay attention to every small detail and always leave bad reviews, so they had cancelled bookings from all Germans, or people with German names. I had to find somewhere else at the last minute, which was very difficult. It was a terrible experience.

We spent a weekend here as a family. The apartment at Rembertring 19 was clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed. It’s on the sixth floor, with elevator access, and pets are welcome. The landlord was friendly and accommodating in our messages.

The landlady was lovely and gave us some ideas for things to do. Even with so-so weather, we enjoyed the Christmas market and Schlachte Zauber. The apartment was great, everything worked out perfectly, and I’d gladly return to Bremen. Greetings from Duisburg.
