Meerblick Apartments Villa Vineta Göhren

We liked the attic apartment itself, but the first evening we found a broken kitchen dining chair and a broken hairdryer. We put the chair aside so it wouldn't be used and could be replaced. Neither item was replaced during our nine-night stay. After we left, the landlord messaged us saying we'd left the kitchen “filthy,” then sent photos of coffee marks on the cupboard, stains on the tiled floor and table leg, and water marks on the sink. There was a €90 final cleaning charge, and we'd vacuumed several times and even mopped the bathroom, which isn't something I normally do on holiday. These removable marks shouldn't have been an issue. They also complained that we'd moved the bed against the wall so our baby and other child wouldn't fall out. The bed can be moved, so that shouldn't have been a problem either. Now we're being asked to pay over €100 for the chair, which we didn't break and which was already damaged when we arrived. We're not paying for it. A landlord should be insured for this kind of wear and tear and can deduct the chair on their taxes. We can't recommend Meerblick Apartments Villa Vineta at all and, sadly, won't book again, even though we liked the apartment.
