We loved watching the ships, boats, barges and ferries on the River Weser from our room. It had a beautiful view, and the room itself was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant served delicious, generous portions. This was our first stay at Fährhaus Farge, and I hope we get to come back. We also met the owners, a delightful couple with a lovely family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it!

The new owner has made an already pleasant stay even better. We come here about once a year when traveling from the US to Germany. The place is very quiet, and we love watching the ferry traffic on the Weser from our room and from the breakfast and dinner room. On a Sunday afternoon, just 30 seconds after we checked in, the young man at reception was already on the third floor helping me with my heavy luggage. The breakfast buffet was nice, with a rich selection of fresh items.

The river view from the hotel is amazing. I flew all the way from Canada and have seen some great views, but this one stood out. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the restaurant was tasty with great service too. I’ll definitely come back, and I highly recommend it!
