Holiday Inn - the niu, Crusoe Bremen Airport by IHG

The location is close to the airport, but there's almost nowhere to eat except McDonald's. The rooms are nicely designed and just about big enough for two, though the bathroom wallpaper makes the layout feel odd. The bed was okay, nothing special. Some staff were friendly; others weren't particularly attentive. The air conditioning works very well, maybe too well, and the rooms get overcooled with no way to adjust it. It's better than the hotel across the street. Not a bad stay, but I can't strongly recommend it.

For a basic hotel, it met expectations. Check-in was easy and the rooms were clean. There are parking options nearby, though the hotel's own lot has very few spaces and you can't book one ahead.

The pillows and blankets were flimsy and uncomfortable. There's no proper air conditioning, just weak central air that you can barely feel. The parking lot is small and fills up early, and although I paid so I could park in any spot, there are wheelchair and electric charging spaces. I wouldn't recommend this location.

I was welcomed warmly at reception, but when I got to room 411, the dusty monkey lamp was the first thing I noticed. That didn't feel like a good sign, so I checked the mattresses. One mattress protector had hairs and stains and should have been washed; the other mattress was fine. I've included photos. The bathroom was okay. I stayed one Sunday night before an early Monday flight. There was nobody at reception when I left at 7 in the morning, so I'm writing this here.
