The seafood soup was the highlight, definitely worth trying. The restaurant is quiet and has a nice atmosphere, and the beer went really well with the food. Prices were very reasonable too.

The family-run feel made this a homely place to stay, and the staff were welcoming and patient when I spoke with them since I don't know any German. I was working nearby for a few days, and the food was excellent. If I come back to Vegesack, Havenhaus will be my first choice.

There was mold in the bathroom and the toilet lid was loose. Basic things were missing too, like an ironing board. There was no reception or doorbell, so I had to call to find out I needed to walk to Strandlust hotel for the keys, then walk back. Overpriced, two stars at best.

The beds were disgusting, and the staff were rude, uncaring, and unwilling to help. Worst hotel I've ever been to. Don't come here.

You pick up your room key at the main hotel, where they also serve breakfast from 6:30am. Lovely place, and they speak English very well.
