Hotel NordRaum

I was here to collect a new truck 🚛, and I guess they noticed the billing address and thoughtfully gave me a room with the right view 😃. It was spacious for one, with a very comfortable bed and coffee and tea in the room. There’s a gas station nearby with late-night beer and magazines, plus McDonald’s and another restaurant. Breakfast was standard German fare, with warm eggs and fresh bananas.

A handy place to stop if you’re passing through. It’s close to the highway, with a Mcdo nearby, a gas station next door, and plenty of parking. The hotel was friendly and clean, and the price was fair. For a city trip, though, the location wouldn’t be great.

Hotel NordRaum was a great, convenient stop on our drive, right next to the highway. The receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile, stayed organized, and patiently answered our questions. Our room was impeccably clean, and the complimentary bottle of sparkling water in the mini fridge was a lovely touch. The experience exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend Hotel NordRaum.

An easy place to stop on a trip, right by the highway and next to a gas station. Our room looked out on woods, a railway, and low-flying airplanes, all part of the roadside feel. The windows kept the sound out so well that we had to open one to hear the travel noise, and that woke the whole family like magic. There’s no AC, so I can imagine it getting very hot, and the highway noise could be an issue with the windows open. We were lucky to visit on a rainy day. The room was decent, the price okay, and the staff friendly and efficient. The bathroom was small but did the job. We were in too much of a hurry to try breakfast, but the gas station next door is open 24/7 and has a nice range of snacks and drinks. Free takeaway coffee at checkout was a great bonus.
