Residence

The studio was roomy, with a kitchenette, and everything was clean. The staff were really kind, and breakfast was tasty and filling. Free internet worked quite fast too. There’s a big park nearby, the neighborhood is quiet, and Aldi, Rewe, and Edeka are easy to reach. The city center is about a 10-minute walk away. You can also park in the courtyard for €10/night. It’s close to a 3-star hotel, and I’d happily stay here again if I come back to Bremen.

I booked a room on a special recommendation, and we had only a limited number of rooms reserved for our events. Then force majeure meant I had to cancel, two hours after the deadline, and it wasn’t my choice. A bill arrived very quickly. I asked by email if they could make a small goodwill discount, but after three weeks Mr. Straten replied arrogantly. I’ve never been treated like this at a hotel in Germany or abroad. The customer clearly isn’t king here. I’d never recommend this hotel to anyone. Be careful.

Breakfast was good, and the hotel is close to the city center, but also very near the train station, so there’s a lot of noise. I stayed six nights and my bedsheets weren’t changed once. Fine for just one night, I suppose.

Breakfast was good, and it’s a nice little hotel with an easy walk to both the station and city center. Just keep in mind that rooms at the back can get noisy because of the train tracks.
