We had a wonderful stay and would plan another holiday here. The team made it feel personal, and the room had a lovely view both day and night. The front desk was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, generous, and good quality, with an environmentally friendly touch. That's part of the apartment hotel concept too. We were there during the summer festival, which made things lively and interesting, but there were downsides: we couldn't open the windows at night because of concert noise, and some drunk people were shouting and playing loud music at midnight. A fan in the room could be useful on hot summer days.

The view from our window was my favorite part, and the hotel is right in the center, close to all kinds of attractions. I had a wonderful weekend at the im-jaich boardinghouse. Our room was huge, modern, and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind. I'd love to come back.

The room was okay, though a little dull, and the reception was always empty. If you're checking in after 9 pm, first figure out how to get into the parking area. Hint: use the black key :p At checkout, with the reception closed and no instructions, we thought we should leave the keys in the box and have the payment processed through the card on our booking. Instead, we got a call 1.5 hours later saying the room was unpaid. We were an hour's drive from Bremen, and they knew where we were, but had to drive back to pay by physical card. They wouldn't accept an online bank transfer with IBAN and BIC. That seemed very strange for a German business, especially since the account number is on their website. Very bad 😔

Bremerhaven is very wheelchair friendly, and everything is within walking distance from this place. The location is nice, the rooms are clean and pleasant, and the bistro serves good food and drinks at reasonable prices. If you're in this part of the woods, the "boarding " house is a very good base.
