The rooms were clean and really nice, with a great view, and the owner's family are lovely people. My one small gripe was that there wasn't a hot water dispenser. I was traveling on a whim, though, and would have brought my own if I had planned ahead.

Breakfast, served from 8:00 to 10:00 AM, was excellent, and the hostess and hotel owner was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a village on the Moselle, in a convenient spot. There's a wide driveway for parking, with spaces on the right, and bicycles and motorcycles can be stored indoors. The entrance is around the back. Inside, there's a guest toilet and the dining room, or Stube. The rooms are upstairs on the second floor, reached by stairs, while the first floor is private.

The local winemaker led a fantastic tasting and explained his homemade wines really well. We tried lovely sweet Rieslings, dry Pinot Grigio, and a delicious red Pinot Noir. I also got to taste my own blackberry wine. It was a great experience and well worth the visit.

We decided on the spur of the moment to stay two nights and had a really good time. The winery owners were so kind and helpful, and they promptly took care of our special requests at breakfast, which was excellent. Our room was cozy and just right for what we needed. Thanks again for a wonderful stay. We'd recommend it.

We enjoyed our spontaneous weekend here and were welcomed so warmly. The rooms were cozy and the accommodation was good, with a delicious breakfast. We also took home a nice selection of the fantastic Rosenbaum wines. We'll definitely return. Best wishes!
