The rural setting made for a really relaxing stay. We were there in August 2024, and I absolutely loved it. The room was spacious, with an incredible bed, and the kitchen was well stocked. The washroom was very nice too.

The apartment was nicely furnished, and parking was available on the street right in front of the entrance. It’s at the edge of town, so the place was very quiet. The only drawback was that all the windows faced one way, leaving the back of the apartment a bit dark.

We had such a lovely weekend here. The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet: step outside and you’re right in nature. Inside, it’s incredibly cozy. The sofa is a little small, almost like a child’s sofa :-)) but the kitchen went way beyond what I expected. It had everything we needed, and all the appliances, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and so on, were really high quality. Absolutely wonderful!

The shower and toilet were new and fine if you’re 10 years old and 1.30 meters tall, but the rest of Berner's apartment in the Heidehaus was completely unacceptable. The place smelled musty, with spiders and webs everywhere. There was no oven, and the hotplate was hidden in a closet. The “bedroom” was just a niche with a doll’s bed for dolls or dwarves, and the “mattress” was soft and rubbery, not really a mattress. The cabin was packed with pointless decorations, leaving us to put our own things on the floor. We had no cell phone reception, and the Wi-Fi was so-so. We’d planned to stay four days, but after one night of terror we left. At approximately €116.47, it was too expensive. There are good apartments in this Heidehaus, with a proper bed and kitchen, and clean, but Berner's apartment isn’t one of them.

The staff were really friendly and quick to respond. The place is tucked away somewhere quiet, and the room’s mix of rustic and modern furnishings was lovely. The bathroom was very nice, with a large shower, and the soft bed was spacious. The kitchen is small but had what we needed. One thing to know: guests on the upper floor have to take their dogs up a metal staircase, which may not suit every dog. Parking is somewhat limited.
