The apartment looked really nice and had a good kitchen. Our check-in was very late, but the host was friendly about it and waited nearly until midnight. There were farm animals, plus a dog and cat. The owner let them into the apartment, and the dog barked at us, so we had to handle that ourselves. That wasn’t great. The bed I slept in had a hole beneath the mattress where I lay all night. I didn’t look into it any further. Hope this gives a fair impression.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the farmyard has lots for children to explore. We stayed in the large apartment, which is lovely, quiet, and spacious enough for up to six people.

The location is away from car traffic, and the directions were clearly signposted. My room was spotless and had the kitchen utensils I needed. The door could be locked from the inside, despite what another review said.

Milking the cows was the kids’ highlight of the evening. Klaus and Dirk gave us a really warm welcome, and they’re incredibly kind. They explained everything and showed us around. The apartment had everything we needed day to day. I’d highly recommend the farm, and we’d love to return next year.

The rooms are comfortable, and the price is excellent. It’s a great place for families, with the children able to play with the farm animals and enjoy themselves. The landlord is very pleasant, and we had some great conversations.
