The currywurst sauce was homemade and the best I’ve ever had, and the noodles with the goulash were superb too. We also enjoyed the food and drinks in general. The hostess was incredibly friendly, and the activity books were a nice touch to keep the kids busy.

The fish was really poor, and dessert felt like a strange mix of supermarket items. Service was friendly, but too slow to manage a group with both adults and kids.

The terrace looks out over the Schlei, and with the lovely weather we were glad to sit outside. We came to the Faehrhaus with my husband for a short stay on the 27th of July. The waitress said terrace tables couldn't be reserved, which surprised us given how full it was. The food was excellent and the service superb. We’d love to come back, this time for a weekend in one of the cute suites.

The setting has a nice sailing and boating feel, with elegant decor and a lovely view. The food was delicious, and everyone was very friendly. Service was attentive without getting in the way. Thanks, we’ll be back.
