4/10
I chose this hotel because it was close to the port highway, which worked perfectly for an overnight stay before an early ferry. The service and condition, though, were far below what I expected. The stained sheets and old, dirty carpet didn't help. The bathroom is a plastic enclosure with a bad smell, and it somehow gets worse when you shower. I know they took over another hotel and haven't renovated it yet, but putting the B&B name on it without making changes doesn't seem fair. It doesn't meet the usual B&B chain standards.

8/10
The rooms are clean and inexpensive, so it's fine if you can live with the sink being oddly placed in a different corner from the toilet and shower. The place feels a bit chaotic in general, but the staff were really friendly and helpful.

It worked well for us because the ferry terminal was nearby.

I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily come back. The automatic check-in wasn't working, and the bathroom was cold with no heating, but neither issue bothered me much. The staff were lovely, friendly, and helpful.
