Hotel Ambiente

Hotel Ambiente Bückeburg made a very positive impression on me. The team was professional, warm and kind, and the communication felt thoughtful and genuinely welcoming. I appreciated it very much.

Breakfast was a tasty buffet with a good selection, and Schloss Bückeburg and the town shops are only a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable, and most staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner took about an hour to arrive on both occasions I ate there, once with a group and once as a couple, so allow for that if you have plans afterward. The hotel advertises a sauna, but you need to call ahead so they can heat it. It also lists a 24-hour reception. When I called around 8:30 p.m., someone answered while shouting at another person, didn’t speak English, and cut me off when I tried in German. Mein Deutsch ist noch nicht so gut, aber es geht. He said reception was closed for the night, so the 24-hour claim didn’t match my experience. It’s a nice place if you’re OK paying a little more and dealing with a few bumps. Knowing some German helps.

The staff were kind and friendly, and breakfast was good, with more savory choices than sweet ones. We also ate dinner there on several days. The food was very good and well prepared, and the portions were generous. The rooms were clean and good, though there’s no air conditioning or phone charger near the bed. A very good hotel for working in the area or visiting the charming small towns nearby. I highly recommend it for both a stay and a meal. 🏨🛏🥞🍲 🍖🥔🍺🍝

The restaurant serves good local food, and the secure parking is useful. Rooms are comfortable, clean, tidy and well equipped. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
