The room looked east across a little valley toward town, and it was roomy and quiet during my mid-May stay. The hotel is very well priced for the area. Inside, the foyer and restaurant make a much stronger impression than the exterior, and the staff on both the morning and evening shifts spoke English, which made check-in and check-out easy. Breakfast was tasty, with a simple mix of cold, cooked, and dry foods. For such a large room, though, the toilet and shower area felt undersized, and the room itself didn't have quite the same character as the shared spaces. Late checkout was available, but the €40 charge was per person rather than per room. Since I was working and my partner wanted to wait in the room, that was still the total cost. A beautiful hotel overall.

I came across the hotel online late one evening while looking for somewhere to break up a long drive. The service was the thing that really stood out. Everyone I met was friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with, and they helped me in English since my German is very limited. Special thanks to the front desk woman with the amazing tattoo, though I didn't get her name. I'd happily come back for a longer stay based on that experience alone. Breakfast was good, the room was very quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The pillows felt too soft to me, but I still slept well.

The food is delicious, and the room I'm staying in is clean and really good. The hotel sits somewhere green, peaceful, and calm. My main issue is the weak Wi-Fi. It keeps me from staying connected with my family and network, so better internet would make the stay much more peaceful. Maybe during busy-season weekends, they could also consider running fixed one-day tour departures that would suit travelers like me.

The beer at the bar and the food in the restaurant used to be better. The hotel feels a little old, though it's clean and comfortable enough. A thicker pillow would be nice. Wi-Fi in the rooms is weak, fine for browsing the internet, but not much beyond that.

I had a great, restful stay in this quiet little village. The four-story hotel is clean and welcoming, and the food and beer were excellent. Huge thanks to all the staff for making the place special, especially the lovely women at reception (Treif training:-*). The Wi-Fi did give us trouble, but they fixed it within a few hours. I'd really recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in a beautiful setting. I'd be glad to visit again. With love from Russland!
