Am Lindenhof Bunde

The host was so sweet and pointed us toward moinmoin, a nice restaurant in Bunde. We had a really nice stay in a very spacious apartment, and there was a baby bed available too.

The breakfast was nicely presented and had some variety, from different sausages and cheeses to bread rolls, cold cuts, yogurt, and eggs on request. There was also a little surprise each day. We booked it as an extra and were pleased with it. We stayed four days as a group of six. The grounds are laid out well, with a private apartment and a shared breakfast room. The motorway is only a few minutes away, but we barely noticed it, and the place was very quiet. The apartment was huge, with wide doors, a roomy bathroom and lots of storage, a large living room with a small kitchen, and an equally large bedroom. It even seemed wheelchair accessible to us. The blackout curtains were excellent and helped us sleep well. The beds were softer than we like, though that comes down to personal taste. The one issue was that towels took a long time to dry in the interior bathroom and started to smell a bit odd. A towel warmer would help. We felt very comfortable overall.

There’s plenty of parking right by each apartment, and a bicycle garage as well. The complex has a Mediterranean look from the outside. It’s also a great base for bike rides around the area and farther afield, and recommendations are easy to get. The apartments are spacious, breakfast is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lindenhof is recommended in every respect.

Our room was spacious, well equipped, and very clean. The bathroom had no window and smelled a little musty, and the terrace between rooms wasn’t divided, so there was no privacy there. Parking was right in the courtyard. Although it’s very close to the A280, the location was quiet. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was reasonably priced, and the employee already knew what we liked that day.
