Steinhaus Hof

The landlady was warm and welcoming, and always available when we had questions. We rented both apartments as a larger group and had a wonderful stay. The fireplace was a highlight, with firewood regularly supplied to keep things cozy. The upstairs apartment has its own entrance, and the two apartments aren’t connected inside. The paths could use better lighting after dark. In the ground-floor apartment, the living room was thoughtfully furnished and had the old building’s charm, with cozy winter-season decor. The bathrooms look stylish and towels were included, though the shower is awkward for very tall people. Bed linen was provided, and the beds can be pushed together. Some upstairs rooms have no windows or only small ones. The kitchen has a dishwasher, the usual equipment, and a large freezer. Dish soap and kitchen towels were supplied. The sink drain did sometimes smell a little unpleasant.

Cold and dirty.
