The breakfast had a really good range, though I found dinner a bit expensive for the amount of choice. Prices overall are on the high side, but it's a popular place, so I can see why it costs more. I liked using it as a base for cycling around the Spreewald area on the pickle trail. The natural pool is full of frog sounds, and the saunas are a great way to sweat off some stress. A lovely place in nature to unwind, whether you're a couple or a family. The walk-in showers also make it accessible for people with different abilities.

I loved the sauna area, especially how the three saunas and steam room open straight outdoors, with an ice-cold naturally filtered pond for swimming. The property sits in the Spreewald countryside outside the main town, with different kinds of accommodation in buildings arranged around the open-air sauna complex and indoor pool. I stayed in a two-level chalet-style room with a balcony. It was well kept and simply, tastefully decorated, and there are regular hotel rooms in the main building too. Parking is free on site. Breakfast and B&B are available, with breakfast costing 13€, which felt a bit pricey, as well as half and full board. Sauna towels and bathrobes are included. It's not a budget place, but I thought it was good value and would gladly return.

It's such a beautiful place. My only complaints are that not much of the staff speak English and dinner is served only until 20:30.
