Villa Rosamunde

The breakfast room felt really cozy, and breakfast had a good range of drinks, especially juices. It was a small spread, but there was everything you need: rolls, toast, sausage, cheese, cereal, yogurt, and plenty of vegetables. You could also ask the waitress for eggs, scrambled or fried, with a few extras. We only stayed one night, and the apartment was sweetly decorated and, most of all, clean. It was quiet, so we slept well.

We felt at home straight away in this very convenient spot in Burg-Dorf. The apartment is well equipped and tastefully decorated, and we especially liked the spacious bathroom and shower. There’s a lockable bike shed, too. Breakfast is delicious if you book it on-site, and you can have your egg made just the way you like it. There isn’t really anywhere to hang towels in the bathroom apart from the heated rail. A few more dishes would also help, so you don’t have to keep washing up.

The village is only a few minutes away on foot, so it was easy to explore, even though the apartment itself is in a quiet, central location. We spent four nights in Apartment 4 over the autumn holidays. Everything was in excellent condition and worked properly, and the place was clean and nicely furnished. Check-in was quick and easy, with a very friendly host to welcome us. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the staff member was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Cyclists are especially well looked after here. The big lockable bike shed, complete with a compressor, is fantastic. We had two lovely days and found the atmosphere pleasant and harmonious. There were just a few minor issues, but otherwise everything was excellent. We can highly recommend it.
