Kreuz Post Hotel Restaurant Spa

Set among the vineyards, it’s a great spot to unwind alone or with your spouse. We really enjoyed the spa, the service and the prices. Reception made us feel very welcome, and we even left with a regional bottle of wine as a gift. Such a warm welcome, thank you!

Breakfast was good, and the women serving it were friendly and smiling. There was the usual European spread of meat, cheese, plenty of bread, coffee, tea, yogurt and fruit. The rest of the stay was disappointing. We didn’t feel welcome when we arrived, and both the front desk staff and manager came across as snippy whenever we asked a question. There was hair in the bed and bathroom, only one bedside light worked, and the other lights kept flickering on and off during the night and waking us. The bed was hard, so I couldn’t sleep. We paid more to stay here for the pool and spa, but the pool was freezing and unpleasant, so we didn’t use it.

At lunchtime outside on 13/7/25, the restaurant waitress was very rude. She seemed too old to be serving people and probably fed up with the job. People like that should stay away from gastronomy. Never again.

The restaurant food was amazing, and the rooms were comfortable. It’s a quiet, pleasant place too. 🙂
