The food was a real highlight of my week here for a golf vacation. Each morning I had vegan yogurt and cheese, lunch came with delicious rolls filled with hummus or vegan cheese, and every evening they made me an elaborate three-course vegan dinner. My favorite was the smoked tofu with filling. Before the stay, I’d asked about vegan meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the hotel assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. They followed through. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Thorsten spoke English very well and made me feel welcome, and the young man with a beard at reception was especially accommodating. Communication could be tricky since most staff had limited English, so some language training would be useful. The air conditioning also struggled with the heat outside, and I’d have liked more pillow choices because the standard pillow was too large for me. I had a fantastic stay and would come back. Thanks to the team for making vegan dining so enjoyable!

I tried to get a partial refund for compassionate reasons, but management wasn’t willing to help. I spoke to both the receptionist and the manager in person to sort it out, and neither offered any assistance. A very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

We ended up having to drive to play golf every morning because we were staying in the sister hotel in the middle of town. We’d thought we’d booked the golf course hotel. The hotel we got was nice, though.

The restaurant food was great, and the woman running breakfast did an awesome job. My room, though, wasn’t what I’d asked for. It had a bed upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase, and it was hot up there. They said they had only one room like the one I booked, with one level and a large bed. They didn’t try to satisfy me, just said I was wrong and that the room I’d ordered wasn’t available.
