Eventhof Platzhirsch

The breakfast was a real treat: fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts, spreads, freshly brewed coffee, a good range of teas, and eggs cooked fresh every morning. There was plenty, and everything was prepared with care. We also loved the hotel's gym. The equipment was in top condition, and there's hardly anything comparable nearby. Our room at Hotel Platzhirsch was clean, comfortable, classically furnished, and cleaned daily. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the owner was friendly, attentive, and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The price was excellent for what we got. It's a peaceful spot for relaxing, with hiking and cycling nearby, and France and Baden-Baden close enough for day trips. We had a very pleasant stay and would love to come back.

Our little balcony, with its lounge chairs and small table, was a lovely place to relax. We were there as a couple for just one night and were very satisfied. Breakfast was straightforward but generous, freshly prepared, and great value. The owner was especially friendly and accommodating. Simple, good, and incredibly welcoming. We'd recommend it.

The gym was a particular highlight, with excellent equipment and a standard that's unusual for a hotel. Breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, with everything we wanted. Hotel Platzhirsch also has a peaceful setting that's good for relaxing or heading out to hike and cycle. Baden-Baden and France are easy to reach. We were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the owner was. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoroughly cleaned each day. We found the stay very good value, and would definitely return and recommend the hotel.

Set in a wonderfully quiet part of the Northern Black Forest, this guesthouse has a huge fitness area that's a dream for anyone into sports. The owner is very friendly, and there's a traditional German restaurant across the street. I'd gladly stay again.
