The staff are friendly, and the food is great. I especially liked the delicious gyros. Really nice restaurant.

We had a booking issue since Booking.com wouldn't let us change the dates, but the staff still managed to sort that out for us, which we really appreciated. They seemed very friendly, even though communicating in English was a little tricky. The place is in a really nice spot, and we enjoyed straightforward, tasty schnitzel and spätzle with a couple of large beers.

The service was impeccable, and the hotel owner was very friendly. It's a gorgeous heritage house in the center of historic Calw. I'd definitely come back.

The chicken breast special was fantastic, though a little heavy on the pepper. Everything else was amazing too, excellent all around.
