We booked at the last minute and are so glad we came. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a nice mattress, and the location in the heart of Altstadt of Cawl was phenomenal. Everyone was exceptional, from the owner at check-in to the server, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t catch, and Annie. Dinner here blew us away with how good the food was. The place has exceeded our expectations, and we’re so happy to be here! We shared a meal, and the portions were very generous.

We ended up eating at the restaurant on all three nights because the food was so good. I wish we’d booked half board. The hotel is right on Herman-Hesse-Platz in the old town, and it’s clear the same family has owned it for generations and takes pride in it. Staff were friendly and helpful, our room was comfortable and quiet, and breakfast was excellent. Prices were reasonable. There’s limited free parking on site, or you can get a discount voucher for the nearby parking garage. Highly recommended.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had a good wine selection and typical family-run German food. It’s a lovely hotel in a pretty little town, just five minutes from the railway and bus station. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and practical.

Clean and tidy, with a good breakfast and a wonderful location. The room and bed quality felt a little overpriced.

Right in the middle of Calw's old town, this hotel-restaurant is a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is a hearty buffet.
