The apartment felt super cozy, with lovely attention to detail. The courtyard was inviting, with rabbits and chickens, and there was a private terrace too. Our hosts were very friendly.

The place itself is small, cute, and cozy, and the owners are nice and open to questions. But the microwave is only a large glass, with no grill function. I chose this accommodation for New Year's Eve because I wanted very little fireworks and asked about it beforehand. I was told they would only go off after midnight for half an hour, but they were already starting at 6 pm. I wouldn't recommend staying here with a dog for New Year's Eve.

The garden was still a dream when we arrived in November, even though autumn had already set in. All the little thoughtful touches that make the grounds so distinctive show up in the apartments too. Our hosts were very nice and gave us tips right away for good dog walking routes and restaurants. We were very happy with our stay, and want to say a heartfelt thank you for such a lovely time.

I rented the apartment because of the large garden, but I wasn't shown it until the fifth day. It's well maintained and dogs apparently shouldn't disturb it. The apartment and location themselves are fine, but dogs aren't allowed to run free, despite what the house rules say. After 30-degree heat and highway traffic jams, I arrived with my two small dogs and Mrs. Krahnstöver told me they had to stay on leash. There was no warm welcome or instructions. Things went better with Mr. Krahnstöver, but by then the vacation was ruined.
