The room cleaning was completely neglected. Towels were never replaced, the bed wasn’t made, and the room was never cleaned at all. Breakfast had enough choice, but the hotel feels dated despite being refurbished.

The surroundings were peaceful and pleasant during my business trip. The rooms are functional, and I had both dinner and breakfast. The food was good; breakfast didn’t offer much choice, but everything tasted good.

The room was quite large, but very old and not especially clean. The building is old and poorly maintained, and the hotel feels like a family-run place gone wrong. Breakfast was okay. During our four-night stay, we had no hot water for one night and two mornings because a boiler had broken and took days to repair. The bathroom fan was old and noisy. The owner smokes constantly, and the smoke spreads through the hotel despite it being designated smoke-free. He also has a cat. If you’re allergic to smoke or cats, stay away. Reception is open only a few hours a day, so outside check-in hours you’re on your own.

A pretty decent option for a business trip, with big rooms. The shower area may feel narrow for some. WiFi is free, and you can pay by card. Breakfast and drinks with breakfast seem to be charged separately.

The setting is quiet, with a great garden and horses in the backyard. There’s a tennis court nearby, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Very good overall.
