Pension am Weideweg

I came back many weekends from late May onward while taking a course at the nearby Chamber of Skilled Crafts. The location worked very well, and I slept soundly despite the industrial area next door. The rooms were clean and well equipped for a guesthouse, and the free Wi-Fi worked without a hitch. I didn't use the breakfast room since I was only there to sleep. There were occasionally spiders in the corners and cobwebs under the bed if you looked closely. That didn't change my generally positive impression, though. A very nice guesthouse with friendly owners, and I'd gladly return.

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room had more amenities than we expected from a guesthouse. We chose it as a base for a long weekend exploring the surrounding area and were happy with the choice. We'd love to stay again sometime.

The room was pleasant overall, with a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, and a modern, clean bathroom. Everything was tidy. Breakfast was the weak point: to get coffee or hot chocolate, you had to go to reception each time, and the rolls were inexpensive ready-baked ones that tasted like it. On departure day, we politely asked to make one Nutella sandwich each for the long drive home, but instead of a parting treat, they charged us €10 for six Nutella rolls.

The owners were kind enough to let me park there, and there was plenty of parking. Service was friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean and well furnished. It was peaceful, prices were low, and a nearby bus stop made it easy to get into the center of Chemnitz. I recommend it.
