A lovely romantic atmosphere, and the homemade cakes with coffee were a real treat. It's just a five-minute stop from the highway in Cloppenburg.

My mom says this was easily the best place she stayed in Germany. She put it simply: “Five stars doesn't do it justice.” Thanks for looking after her so well!

I've often visited with my grandma, and they were always patient and kind, even when she repeated herself. The staff are so lovely, especially Josef. I'm impressed by the amazing homemade cakes, too, with a different kind each time.

I just read that the Cottage Garden is closing, which is such a shame. We felt very at home there, enjoying coffee and cake on several visits, and everything is decorated with so much care. A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I spent a weekend there and were completely happy with the service and breakfast. We would have loved to return, but wish the couple all the best and a wonderful time together. Ingrid.
