Best place for a short weekend stay.

We arrived with a lot on our minds, but the weekend gave us a chance to put our worries aside. My granddaughter and I were welcomed so warmly, and the lady who rents out the rooms was lovely. The room was clean, and we slept well. Breakfast was plentiful; I missed whole-grain rolls, but there was whole-grain bread, so that was fine. Everything was explained clearly, including parking and the quick walk to the market. The path into town begins beside the house and takes less than five minutes, with good food and the best mulled wine there. From Friday after school until Sunday evening, parking is available in the schoolyard. Thank you, it worked very well for us. I’ll gladly recommend you and will get in touch if I return to Cochem.

The apartment was beautiful, clean, and so well equipped, with lovely attention to detail. The owner deserves huge praise: she’s cheerful, attentive, and helpful, and really knows how to look after guests. Breakfast was fantastic and beautifully arranged, with everything you could want. On New Year’s Eve, there were even small gifts for everyone at the table. The location and parking were top-notch too. We’re thrilled with our stay and highly recommend this guesthouse. I can’t understand how anyone could have anything to complain about. We wish the owner continued success, lots of lovely guests, and good health!

My parents had told me a lot about Pension Hendriks, and on my first visit to Cochem I finally got to see it for myself. The owner does a wonderful job of making guests feel at home, and she was especially accommodating to my father, who uses a wheelchair. The rooms are clean and furnished with care, and she’s always ready to listen and help. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, and I liked the self-service kiosk, which feels based on mutual trust. I’m looking forward to coming back in May, and I’d definitely recommend the guesthouse. 😊
