Room 11 gave us a lovely view of The Musel, and breakfast was a real highlight. There were plenty of choices, all tasty, and I especially loved the chocolate chip muffin, which I had every morning 😂. The staff were friendly too, from the sweet Asian cleaning lady to the lovely lady from Ukraine who served coffee with a smile, and the helpful owner, who gave us tips for things to do with our 10-month old baby. We stayed four nights in August 2025, until last Tuesday, and had a great time. The hotel is in a beautiful old building, near central Cochem but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. There’s private parking downstairs, the room was nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom could use more storage, but it was manageable. We only glanced at the terrace, which looked great. It’s a beautiful place, and we’re already planning to return.

We loved how comfortable the rooms were for our family, and the service was warm and accommodating. Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the terrace was a lovely place to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks. The hotel is right by the water and close to town. We’d happily recommend it and hope to return to Cochem.

The location is spot on, right across from the Mosel and a short walk from the old town. It’s a lovely little hotel with just 12 rooms, so it feels cozy and safe. Breakfast is a wonderful buffet, and for a small extra charge they’ll pack you a lunch for later. The woman who runs the place is lovely and very helpful. I’m not sure whether the terrace is for one or perhaps two rooms, but it isn’t available to every guest.

Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. A wonderful hotel, absolutely recommend it.
