The breakfast was amazing, with so many choices that you'll want to leave plenty of time to eat. Everyone was super helpful, and our room was clean and cozy with a very comfortable bed. They could use a proper espresso machine for cappuccino and similar drinks, but everything else was great!

A useful heads-up: reception is at number 25 on the same street, at Hotel Domspitzen. Don't walk past it coming from the central station, or you may have to turn back with all your bags, like we did. The price for what you get is good, and the breakfast was surprisingly awesome, with plenty of buffet options, even tiramisu. Our room was a bit old and not super clean. The elevator was out of order while we were there, so we had to carry our things up two floors. I think the management should provide another solution in that situation.

We were very happy with the breakfast, with lots of choice, and found the room cute and clean. Parking was close by and convenient. We stayed at Hotel Domstern for the weekend in Cologne, right by the main station and around five minutes from the cathedral and city center. Highly recommend.

The location is a real plus, near the railway station and downtown Cologne. It's a very basic hotel, and our room was small but okay and clean. The bed linen was very average, and the tiny bathroom had a really bad smell when we arrived. Breakfast is at another nearby hotel and you have to book a time slot. No espresso or anything like that with breakfast.

A nice, clean room and a quiet night made this a good one-night stay. The location is great, with everything close by, and it's a handy base for exploring the city. Breakfast was decent, but a bit disappointing, nothing special, with only filter coffee and no jam.
