A great spot for a weekend stay.

The owners were relaxed and understanding. The rooms and kitchen were furnished reasonably well, and hand and bath towels were provided. The fridge was past its best, and the cable ties in the bathroom looked a bit rough, though both things worked fine.

The best thing about this holiday home is that it’s right beside a tram stop. We booked it for the Orgatec trade fair with five employees. Three people had their own bedrooms and two shared one, which was fine. The bigger issue was having just one bathroom and toilet. With eight possible sleeping places, mornings would mean setting up a queue system. The inexpensive IKEA furniture was worn, and a gas boiler in one bedroom kept switching on and off. It wasn’t loud, but still annoying when trying to sleep. I wouldn’t book it again.

There’s no shared space to relax in, and the tiny, uncomfortable kitchen isn’t a good place to socialize. The rooms have only harsh ceiling lights, with no bedside lamps, and one of the four rooms contains the gas boiler, making it impossible to sleep there. The house is right by the train station, so it’s very noisy, with trains sometimes coming and going every 10 minutes. Eight people also have to share one bathroom and toilet, which means long waits in the morning. The kitchen was poorly equipped and still dirty from the previous guests. Basic IKEA furniture was old, worn out, and full of holes. I wouldn’t recommend the place, though people on a tight budget might manage.
